First Lady Stephanie Y. Grant

First Lady Stephanie Grant was born in Houston, Texas on February 7, to Mr. Joe Louis Blacklock and Mrs. Doris Ann Brown Blacklock. Stephanie was raised in the Church and has always had a love for God and for people. She has a special love for children and has the ability to draw them and speak life-changing words into their lives. She is married to Pastor Timothy W. Grant and they have been united for over 34 years and have been blessed with four beautiful children. Through transition of many Army moves, Stephanie has supported her husband while serving in the Military for over 26 years.

Stephanie has inspired women to embrace spiritual change and live more fulfilling lives.  Speaking from the heart of her own experiences as a wife, mother of four, current co-pastor of Deliverance Outreach Temple, Stephanie has the unique ability to connect to women from all walks of life. She has accepted the call to help women develop their self-esteem and self-worth.  Overseeing the Sisterhood Department and a Sunday School teacher is just some of the ways she encourages women to access the tools necessary to bring about the transformation that will help them realize their potential. She sang in the choir and faithfully participated in all the activities involving the women. In March 2005, she took the realms of leadership at Deliverance Outreach Temple while her husband was deployed to Iraq. She served as Pastor and Overseer From 2005 to 2006.  Her love and passion for children inspired her to oversee the Summer Food Service Program and the At Risk-Program, which feed the youth and senior adults in her community.  She also serves as a mentor to women in ministry, helping them to develop their leadership potential through guidance and encouragement.

She currently holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Management from Austin Peay State University, and she received the Honorary Doctor of Humane Letter Degree from the Shiloh Theological Seminary Stafford, Virginia.  She has attended much Professional Development Workshops, Special Education Training for Substitute Teachers, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification-12 Hours, Standard Medical Practices-4 Hours, and Cultural Sensitivity in Chemical Dependency Counseling, Addressing Sexual Abuse and Anger Management with Residential Clients, and Achieving Extraordinary Customer Relations-16 Hours.

To the members of Deliverance Outreach Temple, she is a minister, teacher, organizer, leader, Co-Pastor and First Lady.  First Lady Stephanie Grant's main area of responsibility for her is to be a support to Pastor Grant and be submissive to him and an example to her children. First Lady and Pastor Grant are a team who are yoked together to do God's work.
