Good Morning Team,
"Self Denial"
Luke 9:23-25, "Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?"
Oswald Chambers said, " I have no right to say I believe in God unless I order my life as under His all-seeing Eye." A note from the Jeremiah study bible say, " Just as a grain of wheat needs to be planted to produce life and fruit, so it is spiritually. People can only experience life and joy when they decide to die to their self-centered existence and give control over their lives to Jesus.

Team, serving the Lord is a denial of self.

"Hold Fast to that Word"
Hebrews 2:1-4, "We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will."(NIV)
